Well, here we are again, staring down the barrel of another lockdown! For many of us, working from home is all we've known since February, changing not only the way we work but also what we wear for work. Thankfully, that WFH bedding-in period has passed, and hopefully none of us are still taking Zoom calls dressed only from the waist up (I can confirm I am fully clothed at the time of writing this).

But let's be honest, lockdown 1.0 and now this second iteration, have changed the way we collectively think about loungewear, from something we occasionally wear on lazy weekends to a genre of menswear interwoven into the very fabric of our bizarre daily lives in 2020. Take pyjamas for example: once a twin set you would slip on to save the neighbours blushes when you would have otherwise bundled into the kitchen on any given morning and brewed up some coffee in your birthday suit - now they've become a softly tailored must-have for your daily morning routine, as well as something to slip into in the evening and wear to bed.

Then there's the sports-inspired jerseys and sweatshirts that have become neatly integrated into our everyday wardrobes. The hoodie, democratically elected into our collective wardrobes, cares not if you wear it with jersey shorts, jeans, pyjama bottoms, or tailored trousers. Or the classic crew-neck sweater - was there ever a more dependable piece of menswear?

Yes, our wardrobes have taken a turn for the casual in 2020, but rather than find ourselves in a style cul-de-sac, we've discovered an open road of soft fabrics and styling options that have become acceptable clobber in our virtual workplaces. If these lockdowns have shown us anything, it's that casual doesn't have to mean lazy or put together with little care or thought.

Our latest loungewear capsule is also our most sustainable yet, with a host of products cut from ecological cotton (cloth derived from recycled cotton), which helps us to lower our carbon footprint. We've also chosen Supima cotton - the gold standard of cotton - to construct our lounge tees, making them incredibly comfortable. Supima retains that fresh tee feeling even after many washes (and holds dye really well) so it's well worth investing in.
We've made sure to keep the colour palette of this capsule tight and neutral, with cream, navy and grey dominating. This is simply so that they are easy to incorporate with everything else currently in your wardrobe. Yes, it's a capsule to wear at home, but it's also been designed to be worn with anything you already own.
