Rumour, aka meteorological forecasting, has it that the UK is due a 'Saharan blast' in the next week or so, which could well prompt the first BBQ of the season. It'll also be a chance to break out the summer wardrobe proper, and test-run your resortwear kit before you head off for your holidays, wherever they may be.
Travelling in style is an art form that needs to balance comfort, panache, and versatility in order to pack light and pack smart. Two menswear garments that give you all of these things are polo shirts and t-shirts, both boasting the versatility to be worn casually but also in a smarter context with tailored trousers or even relaxed tailoring.
The Summer's Key Polos
This season at Oliver Spencer, we really had texture front and centre of ours minds when we were conjuring up what a great polo shirt collection would look like. The silhouette is classic and rarely changes with the exception of slightly different collar configurations, but where we wanted to be different is with textural cloths that would give our polos more depth and dimension. That's why we've used a really interesting and diverse array of tactile cloths - think terry towel corduroy, rich waffle knits, crochet knits, and a silky soft cotton and modal blend among just some of the styles we've created for this summer.
