We're thrilled to have partnered with Esquire for the men's magazine's latest "Esquire Edit" which is the lifestyle magazine's capsule collection of Autumn essentials, made in partnership with some of their favourite menswear brands, including yours truly. The Edit is designed to be a do-everything capsule wardrobe and we're honoured that the powers that be at Esquire have selected us to be included:
"One of the leading names in British menswear, Oliver Spencer’s aesthetic is easy, bohemian and understated. A self-taught designer, Spencer started out selling vintage formalwear at Portobello Road market, before establishing his own formalwear brand, Favourbrook, which still runs parallel to his eponymous label. Spencer’s main line is utility-inspired, with a rakish flair and sustainability at its core, and we’ve been hoping to form a partnership since this project began."

ESQUIRE EDIT: COWBOY JACKET |
We worked with Esquire to produce a special edition version of our brown corduroy chore jacket (the Cowboy jacket) which might just be the perfect piece of inter-seasonal outerwear. Made right here in London from Italian corduroy, it’s workwear-inspired, but slick enough to be dressed-up, and features subtle Esquire Edit green on the reverse of the collar. It's one of our more versatile outerwear pieces, being able to be worn as an open overshirt on warmer days or as a lightweight layering jacket for cooler ones. The corduroy fabric has a beautiful handle , with regular wales giving it a really great tactile feeling.
"What I love about our Cowboy jacket is that you can wear it year-round as outerwear or a layering piece," says Oli. "It's a shirt, it's a jacket, it's whatever you want it to be really, and I think it's a great fit alongside some other fantastic brands in Esquire's edit this year."
It's one of those perennial pieces that you'll happily wear year-round, but that rich ginger tone is especially great for these autumn/winter months. It'll pair nicely with other tonal hues such as beige, cream, khaki et al, but is also easily worn with darker shades such as navy. The four-pocket detail is a nod to the utility of the classic chore and field jackets. Pop the colour and you'll find the Esquire Edit 'green' has been subtly incorporated beneath.
