The perfect middling size for all your ‘everyday carry’ needs. the achi kochi tote from Niwaki can be carried briefcase-style or looped over a shoulder with the traditional cord-hemmed straps. In addition to the roomy main compartment there are no fewer than seven additional pockets, including an external popper-close sleeve and an internal zippered stash pocket.
The main compartment snaps shut with a satisfying magnetic clasp and there’s a removable rigid base to add structure and stability.
The canvas has been woven on vintage shuttle looms and the whole bag has been handmade in a small atelier in Osaka.
